About Knowledge-Sharer.com
How can the web and other resources be used to learn, share and build knowledge and skills? This site is an effort to link to others with the same interests, share what I have learned and believe with others and hopefully obtain useful comments. Which, then, will lead to more knowledge and opinions to share and to have commented on.
The site is also an ongoing experiment in web publishing. I have started with a blog and plan on adding podcasts and videocasts. It will also be a location to distribute follow-up information for my speeches and classes.
About me
I have over 30 years experience in developing and delivering primarily classroom, on-line and on-the-job training. I have delivered some on-line training using primarily PowerPoint, Camtasia and Windows Movie Maker. The training was delivered through both an Intranet Site and a Learning Management System.
A recent assignment was developing job analyses based on procedure analysis and interviews. The job analyses were sent to job incumbents in a survey to determine difficulty to learn, importance and frequency of performance.
Another assignment was to develop a training program for a department. This also involved developing job analyses based on interviews with incumbents, drafting a procedure for the training and developing qualification guides to serve as the basis for both training and evaluation.
